FOOD SERVICES

The Quitman County School Food Service recognizes that children’s nutritional needs must be met to produce healthy learners.

The District strives to offer our students quality nutrition and a variety of choices to appease the individual tastes of our students.

From fresh baked breads, fresh fruits and vegetables, to the freshest ingredients, you would think you are in your momma’s kitchen. This is what you will experience in any of our three cafeterias.

Child nutrition plays a very important role in student performance during the school day. The nutritional content of our meals meet the Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDA’s) as set forth by USDA regulations.

We strive to create an atmosphere which will encourage nutrition knowledge that will assist our students on a healthy journey through life. It is the goal of this department to be a positive support in education of every student.

We are proud to serve the children of the Quitman County Schools, and committed to a program of excellence.

Our customers are our students and staff. They are the purpose of our work, and not the interruptions of it. The same is true of co-workers seeking assistance from us in serving our customers. We are all part of the same team working for the same goals.

We take personal responsibility to insure that all customers and co-workers receive timely, efficient, and courteous responses to their needs.

We take pride in our work, and pledge to do what we believe is right and fix the problems.
